Diamond Power Wins ₹52.86 Cr Cable Supply Deal for Hyderabad Data Centre

Diamond Power Infrastructure has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Aurionpro Solutions for a substantial supply of electrical cables. This contract, valued at approximately Rs 52.86 crore (Including GST), is for a hyperscale data centre campus in Hyderabad.

The LoI specifically covers the HYD-20 package of the Hyderabad campus, where Aurionpro Solutions serves as the appointed EPC contractor. Supplies are slated to commence immediately, delivered on a staggered basis in line with the site’s construction programme to DAP Hyderabad. The contract operates on a price-variation basis, adhering to the IEEMA formula with April 2026 base indices.

Cable Specifications and Strategic Expansion

The cable package is predominantly copper-intensive, encompassing approximately 130 kilometres of various electrical cables. Over 116 kilometres comprises 1100 V grade, XLPE-insulated, FRLS-sheathed 1C x 300 sq mm copper conductor cable, crucial for high-density server halls. The remaining cables include 33 kV (E) grade aluminium XLPE armoured FRLS cable, 1.1 kV aluminium armoured LT power cables, and copper control cables, all meeting client’s IEC 61914 cleat and fire-performance specifications.

This order directly leverages the company’s recently commissioned copper wire drawing and copper cable manufacturing line. This facility boasts a capacity of 1,500 MT of copper cables per month, specifically established for high-intensity power applications like data centres and power plants. This marks Diamond Power Infrastructure’s strategic entry into copper-based cables, complementing its existing aluminium cables and conductors business.
