Tamil action-crime thriller ‘DC’ experiences a sharp 55.6% box office decline on its second Monday, earning Rs 2 crore net in India. Total collections reach Rs 86.85 crore worldwide.

The Tamil action-crime thriller ‘DC’, also known as Devdas Chandra, experienced a significant downturn in its box office performance on its second Monday, securing just Rs 2 crore net in India.

This figure represents a substantial 55.6% reduction from the Rs 4.5 crore collected on the preceding day. The film was screened across 2,165 shows on this eleventh day of its theatrical run.

Cumulative Box Office Trajectory

With this latest collection, ‘DC’ has accumulated a total net collection of Rs 56.76 crore in India, while its gross collection within the country stands at Rs 65.35 crore.

The film also added Rs 25 lakh to its overseas gross on Day 11, bringing its total international earnings to Rs 21.50 crore. This pushes the movie’s worldwide gross collection to Rs 86.85 crore.

Daily Collection Breakdown

The film’s initial momentum included Rs 4.4 crore on Day 1, Rs 7 crore on Day 2, and Rs 9.55 crore on Day 3. Subsequent weekdays saw collections of Rs 6 crore on Day 4, Rs 5.55 crore on Day 5, Rs 5.25 crore on Day 6, and Rs 4.15 crore on Day 7, culminating in a first-week total of Rs 41.90 crore.

During its second weekend, ‘DC’ collected Rs 2.86 crore on Day 8, Rs 5.50 crore on Day 9, and Rs 4.50 crore on Day 10, setting the stage for the notable drop on Monday.

Language-Specific Performance on Day 11

On Day 11, the Tamil version of ‘DC’ was the primary contributor, generating Rs 1.40 crore from 1,439 shows with 25% occupancy. The Telugu version contributed Rs 59 lakh from 673 shows with 23% occupancy, while the Hindi version managed Rs 1 lakh from 53 shows with 11% occupancy.
