Understanding InvITs
InvITs operate as vehicles for managing infrastructure assets, distinct from traditional equity shares. They are structured to distribute a significant portion of their cash flow to unit holders, typically as dividends or interest.
This structure makes them appealing to long-term investors seeking stable income. Their performance directly correlates with factors like traffic volume and the maintenance quality of their highway portfolios.
Next Steps for Investors
For investors awaiting their results, refunds for non-allotted units are scheduled to begin on July 30, 2026. On the same date, successful applicants will have their units credited to their demat accounts.
The units are tentatively slated for listing on both the BSE and NSE on August 3, 2026. Following this, the market price will be influenced by demand, interest rate trends, and the perceived stability of the Trust’s toll-road portfolio.
