Oswal Pumps Ltd shares have extended their post-listing decline, closing at Rs 296.35 apiece on the BSE, representing a more than 51% drop from their initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 614. This significant downturn comes approximately one year after the company’s market debut.

The stock initially listed on June 20, 2025, at Rs 634 per share on the NSE, securing a modest premium of 3.26% over its issue price. However, investors who acquired shares at the IPO price or upon listing have since seen their investment value more than halve.

Volatility and Recent Performance

Oswal Pumps stock has experienced considerable volatility, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 883.85 and a 52-week low of Rs 283.05 on the BSE. Year-to-date, the stock has declined over 40%, with an approximately 8% fall observed in the last six months.

Q1FY27 Financial Headwinds

The company reported a challenging Q1FY27, with consolidated net profit declining by 43% year-on-year to Rs 53.80 crore. This compares to Rs 94.70 crore recorded in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Revenue from operations also saw a decrease, falling by 7.87% year-on-year to Rs 473.56 crore. In Q1FY26, the company’s revenue stood at Rs 514.00 crore.

Operating EBITDA contracted by 47.64% year-on-year, reaching Rs 74.30 crore in Q1FY27, down from Rs 141.90 crore in Q1FY26. Concurrently, the operating EBITDA margin compressed significantly by 1,168 basis points year-on-year, settling at 15.71%.
