NudgeBee Secures Funding; Startups Reimagine Breast Cancer Treatment

NudgeBee, an AI platform for cloud operations, has secured $3 million in seed funding led by Kalaari Capital to advance its technology. The funding will support the development of its enterprise context layer and expand its partnership-led distribution model, aiming to expedite value realization for large organizations.

Founded in 2024 by Rakesh Rajendran and Shiv Pratap Singh, NudgeBee addresses challenges in modern computing. As businesses transition to cloud-native and multicloud environments, NudgeBee’s platform includes specialist tools like AI-SRE agents to ensure system stability.

In other news, India’s breast cancer incidence rate has risen from 13 cases per 1 lakh women in 1990 to 29.4 per 1 lakh women in 2023, with mortality rates also increasing. Several startups are working to improve breast cancer management.

Gaps exist in screening, diagnosis, treatment, and care, with uneven early screening and limited focus on recovery and rehabilitation. UE LifeSciences’ iBreast Exam uses capacitive sensing to detect breast tissue variations, while Niramai Health Analytix, founded by Dr. Geetha Manjunath, employs thermal imaging and machine learning in its Thermalytix tool for early breast cancer detection.
