Indigo Paints’ Q1FY27 net profit soared 61.07% to Rs 41.75 crore, driving its stock price up on the BSE and boosting investor confidence.

Indigo Paints shares gained on the BSE, trading at Rs. 1166.05, marking an increase of 15.95 points or 1.39% from its previous close of Rs. 1150.10. This upward movement follows the company’s strong first-quarter financial results for FY27.

The scrip commenced trading at Rs. 1162.00, reaching an intraday high of Rs. 1210.00 and a low of Rs. 1161.75. A total of 20298 shares were actively traded on the counter during the session.

The company’s market capitalization currently stands at Rs. 5589.97 crore. Its 52-week performance shows a high of Rs. 1345.00 on November 18, 2025, and a low of Rs. 702.10 on April 2, 2026.

Q1FY27 Financial Performance

Indigo Paints reported a significant 61.07% jump in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27). This figure reached Rs. 41.75 crore, up from Rs. 25.92 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company’s total consolidated income also saw a substantial rise of 20.66%, climbing to Rs. 379.86 crore for Q1FY27. This compares to Rs. 314.82 crore reported in the same quarter last year.

On a standalone basis, net profit increased by 60.74% to Rs. 42.37 crore for Q1FY27, compared to Rs. 26.36 crore in the prior year. Standalone total income grew 19.74% to Rs. 359.90 crore from Rs. 300.58 crore.

Shareholding Structure

The latest shareholding data indicates that promoters maintain a 53.88% stake in Indigo Paints. Institutions hold 30.98% of the company’s shares, while non-institutional investors account for the remaining 15.15%.
