Analyst Outlook and Key Levels

Market momentum is anticipated to remain constructive in the upcoming week, driven by the final phase of the Q1FY27 earnings season. Siddhartha Khemka of Motilal Oswal noted that global factors such as US-Iran negotiations, crude oil prices, and US inflation data will also influence market direction.

Nagaraj Shetti of HDFC Securities believes the Nifty will stay positive above the 24,300-24,400 support zone, viewing any weakness as a buying opportunity. A decisive break above 24,775 could trigger a sharp upward movement.

Sudeep Shah of SBI Securities identified the 24,750-24,800 zone as a critical hurdle, with a sustained breakout above 24,800 potentially leading to targets of 24,950 and 25,100. Immediate support is seen at 24,450-24,420.

Osho Krishan of Angel One expects the 24,500-24,450 zone to provide immediate support, while the 20-DEMA around 24,340 acts as crucial positional support. The 24,650-24,700 zone is identified as key resistance.

Nandish Shah, also from HDFC Securities, highlighted that the Nifty is oscillating between its 200-day SMA (24,758) and 200-day EMA (24,384), maintaining a bullish primary trend. The next directional move hinges on a decisive break above the 200-day SMA or below the 200-day EMA.

Rupak De of LKP Securities stated that the Nifty remained volatile within a narrow range, indicating a sideways to positive near-to-short-term trend as it holds above its 50-EMA. He noted 24,650 as a key resistance, with a break potentially triggering a sustained rally, while support lies at 24,500.
