The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a significant reshuffle of its office bearers, strategically positioning its leadership team. This move sees key figures stepping into new roles, shaping the party’s organizational structure.

Among the prominent appointments, Smriti Irani is set to return to the forefront as a National General Secretary. She will serve alongside Vinod Tawde in this crucial organizational capacity.

Key Leadership Shifts Announced

Piyush Goyal, who currently serves as the Minister of Commerce and Industry, has been entrusted with the role of National Treasurer. This appointment highlights his expanded responsibilities within the party’s financial administration.

Additionally, Rajesh Mangal from Rajasthan was named National Joint President, further strengthening the leadership. BJP’s national president, Nitin Nabin, officially announced these changes, outlining the new party hierarchy.

New National Vice Presidents Appointed

The reshuffle also introduced several new National Vice Presidents. These include seasoned leaders such as Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Tirath Singh Rawat, and Ram Madhav.

These appointments bring a mix of experience and regional representation to the party’s top echelons. Their roles will be vital in guiding the party’s direction.

Organizational Secretaries Named

In the organizational structure, B.L. Santhosh from Delhi has been designated as the National General Secretary of the organization. This position is central to the party’s operational efficiency.

Supporting this critical function are Shivprakash and Saudan Singh, who have been appointed as National Joint General Secretaries. Their combined efforts will help streamline party activities nationwide.

Expanded General Secretary Ranks

The party has also expanded its roster of National General Secretaries with several new additions. Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi, and Sanjay Bhatia are among those taking on these important responsibilities.

Beyond these key positions, the BJP also announced new National Secretaries, a Central Office In-charge, and a Central Office Secretary. Further appointments include a North-East Coordinator, North-East Joint Coordinator, All Cells Coordinator, All Cells Joint Coordinators, and Media Convenors and Co-Convenors, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all party functions.

Eyeing Upcoming State Elections

These extensive appointments come as the party looks ahead to the crucial five-state assembly polls scheduled for early 2027. The states involved in these upcoming elections are Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa, and Manipur.
