Augmont Enterprises lists on NSE and BSE with significant premiums of 22% and 21.35% respectively, following its Rs 825 crore IPO.

Augmont Enterprises made a strong market debut, with shares listing at Rs 961 on the NSE. This represented a 22% premium over its issue price of Rs 788 per equity share.

The company also listed at Rs 956 on the BSE, marking a 21.35% premium. Its Initial Public Offering (IPO) raised a total of Rs 825 crore.

IPO Structure and Funding

The IPO included a fresh issue component valued at Rs 620 crore. An offer for sale contributed an additional Rs 205 crore to the total.

Augmont Enterprises secured Rs 246 crore from 14 anchor investors prior to the IPO’s official opening. These investors included prominent names like Nomura, HDFC Mutual Funds, Nippon India Mutual Fund, and Tata Mutual Funds.

The bidding period for the IPO was active from August 21 to August 25.

Market Analyst Views

Anand Rathi Research recommended a ‘Subscribe for Long Term’ outlook for the IPO. They noted the issue was fully priced at 20.6x P/E and 18.3x FY26 EV/EBITDA based on annualised FY26 earnings.

Post-issue, Augmont Enterprises’ market capitalization reached Rs 7200.2 crore, according to Anand Rathi’s assessment.

Deven Choksey Research valued Augmont at 19.5x FY26 P/E and 7.1x P/B. They highlighted several factors supporting this valuation.

These factors included strong growth and a 14-year proprietary price discovery engine. The company also holds an NSE-authorised EGR partnership, a rapidly expanding retail consumer base of 49.62 million, and maintains a debt-free balance sheet.

Business Profile

Established in October 2012, Augmont Enterprises operates across multiple segments of the gold and silver value chain. This encompasses procurement, refining, bullion trading, digital gold, and jewellery manufacturing.

Its operations are managed through the Augmont SPOT platform for enterprise and international clients. Consumers are served via the Augmont Gold For All platform, utilizing both online and offline distribution channels.

This robust debut positions Augmont Enterprises as a significant player in the gold fintech sector.
