Coforge reported a significant surge in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter, marking a strong start to Q1FY27. This comes as Waaree Renewable Technologies expands into the Australia and New Zealand market, while Hindustan Unilever recorded a dip in its quarterly profit.

The IT services firm saw its consolidated net profit jump by 63.39% to Rs 518.60 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up from Rs 317.40 crore in the prior year’s period. Consolidated total income also climbed by 49.19%, reaching Rs 5,554.50 crore for the same quarter.

Waaree Renewable Enters ANZ Market

Waaree Renewable Technologies announced its strategic entry into the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) renewable energy market. The company signed an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Agreement with a Special Purpose Vehicle of a leading global Independent Power Producer.
