Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) has posted its highest-ever annual financial performance, achieving a record net profit of Rs 502 crore for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. This marks the first time the company has surpassed the Rs 500 crore profit threshold, signaling robust operational and strategic momentum.

Under the new chairmanship of Chief Minister V D Satheesan, CIAL’s Board of Directors has strategically approved an entry into the burgeoning airport consultancy business. This move aims to capitalize on India’s projected Rs 50,000 crore investment in aviation infrastructure over the next decade. The company plans to offer specialized services to other airports across India.
