Indian wealth management startup Centricity secures $29.4M Series A led by SMBC Asia Rising Fund, fueling global expansion and enhancing services for HNI/UHNI clients.
Indian wealth management startup Centricity has closed a US$29.4 million (2.8 billion rupees) Series A funding round. This investment was spearheaded by SMBC Asia Rising Fund.
Funding Details & Strategic Use
Existing investors contributing to the round included Lightspeed India Partners, Burman Family Office, RAAY Investments, Kuldeep Rathi Family Office, Stride Venture, and Innoven Capital.
The capital is earmarked for expanding Centricity’s technology and wealth distribution operations both within India and globally. It will also enhance its private wealth business and services for non-resident Indian clients.
Centricity’s Operational Footprint
Centricity, established in 2022 and based in Gurugram, operates a B2B2C assisted wealth platform. They cater to high-net-worth (HNI) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNI) individuals, family offices, and retail investors.

Product Offerings & Prior Investments
Its product offerings encompass mutual funds, portfolio management services, alternative investment funds, bonds, fixed deposits, and offshore investments.
Prior to this Series A, Centricity secured US$4 million in pre-seed funding in 2022. An additional US$18 million was raised in a seed round in 2024.
SMBC Asia Rising Fund, a Singapore-based venture capital fund, was established by SMBC and Incubate Fund. The fund strategically focuses on financial technology businesses across Asia.
