Ceigall India JV secures a Rs 704.70 crore LoA from MoRTH for a crucial road project in Arunachal Pradesh, enhancing connectivity on NH-913.

Ceigall India (CIL), operating in a joint venture with Sushee Infra & Mining (SIML), has officially secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH). This substantial contract is for a road construction initiative within Arunachal Pradesh, carrying a valuation of Rs 704.70 crore, excluding GST.

The collaborative framework of the joint venture designates Ceigall India with a 74% equity stake, while Sushee Infra & Mining holds the remaining 26%. This specific tender outlines the development of the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913, identified as the Frontier Highway.

Project Specifications and Timeline

The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode project targets the upgrading of the road from km 85.60 to km 168.00 to an Intermediate Lane standard. The construction phase for this critical infrastructure development is stipulated to last for a duration of 48 months.

Beyond the initial building phase, the CIL-SIML joint venture is also tasked with a comprehensive maintenance period spanning five years. Ceigall India’s expertise in large-scale infrastructure construction, including elevated roads, bridges, and expressways, positions it well for this undertaking.
