By Business DeskCaliber Mining IPO Oversubscribed 146x, Strong Debut Expected

Caliber Mining IPO oversubscribed 146.64x with strong demand from all investor classes. Expecting a robust debut at ₹488 per share.

Caliber Mining and Logistics’ Initial Public Offering (IPO) was oversubscribed by a significant 146.64 times overall, indicating robust investor interest ahead of its July 24, 2026, listing.

Demand was particularly strong from non-institutional buyers, who subscribed 267.36 times, and qualified institutional buyers, reaching 240.71 times. Retail investors also showed substantial interest, subscribing 41.15 times during the bidding period from July 17 to July 21.

The IPO successfully raised ₹450 crore through a combination of fresh issue and offer for sale. The shares were offered within a price band of ₹402 to ₹424 per share.

Listing Outlook

Market experts and grey market premium (GMP) trends suggest a strong debut on the Indian stock exchanges. The GMP for Caliber Mining and Logistics IPO currently stands at ₹64 per share.

This premium indicates an estimated listing price of ₹488 per share, representing a 15.09% premium over the issue price. Sushant Prashar, a Research Analyst at INVasset PMS, highlighted the company’s impressive financial growth.

Prashar noted an order book of ₹9,551 crore, approximately 5.7 times its FY26 revenue, which provides solid near-term revenue visibility. He found the post-issue valuation of 17.55x earnings reasonable, given its 27.78% return on equity.

However, Prashar cautioned that the long-term investment thesis requires further scrutiny due to the business’s high dependence on Coal India and its subsidiaries. A large portion of revenue originates from major mining contracts with these entities.

Shares of Caliber Mining and Logistics will commence trading on both the BSE and NSE from 10:00 AM on July 24, 2026.
