Britannia Industries announced a significant financial uplift, reporting a 13.56% increase in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27). This robust performance saw the company’s consolidated net profit climb to Rs 591.35 crore, a substantial rise from the Rs 520.72 crore recorded in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The fast-moving consumer goods major also experienced solid growth in its consolidated total income during the quarter. Consolidated total income advanced by 8.17%, reaching Rs 5,061.38 crore, up from Rs 4,679.23 crore reported in the corresponding period last year.

Standalone Financial Overview

Examining the company’s standalone financials reveals an even sharper increase in profitability for the period. Britannia Industries posted a 15.68% rise in its standalone net profit, which stood at Rs 576.38 crore for Q1FY27.

This standalone net profit figure marks a notable improvement over the Rs 498.27 crore reported in the prior year’s first quarter. Concurrently, the standalone total income for Q1FY27 also demonstrated healthy growth, increasing by 8.57% to Rs 4,892.90 crore.

This revenue growth surpasses the Rs 4,506.85 crore achieved in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The overall financial results underscore a strong operational quarter for Britannia Industries across both its consolidated and standalone operations, reflecting positive momentum for the Indian bakery and dairy giant.
