Bondada Engineering (BEL) has acquired a majority equity shareholding in Onix IPP (OIPL/SPV), marking its entry into a 225 MW (AC) solar power project. This move positions BEL within the Independent Power Producer (IPP) segment, aligning with key government initiatives.

Bondada’s Strategic Solar Acquisition

  • The project operates under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0.
  • It is also part of the PM-KUSUM Scheme in Maharashtra.
  • The Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) holds a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL).

Epigral’s Expansion Plans

Epigral is undertaking a significant capacity expansion, establishing a new manufacturing facility at its existing site in Dahej, Gujarat.

  • Estimated investment: Rs 600 crore.
  • New facilities include Epoxy Resin & Formulations and a Multi-Purpose Plant (MPP).
  • Commissioning expected in the second half of FY28.

Monika Alcobev Forges International Partnership

In the alcobev sector, Monika Alcobev has established a strategic partnership with Angostura, the renowned producer of bitters and Caribbean rum.

  • Monika Alcobev will manage import, distribution, and marketing.
  • Products include Angostura 5-Year-Old Rum, Angostura Aromatic Bitters, and Angostura Orange Bitters.
