BMW Industries, the Kolkata-based steel processing and manufacturing firm, reported a consolidated net profit increase of 25.76% year-on-year for the June quarter of FY27. This surge brought the net profit to Rs 19.04 crore, primarily fueled by a substantial 15% rise in total income.

Total income for the quarter reached Rs 176.68 crore, up from Rs 153.54 crore in the prior year. The company also saw its Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) grow by 22.2% year-on-year, with the EBITDA margin expanding by 147 basis points to 25.1%.

This significant project aligns with the government’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for specialty steel, aiming to boost domestic manufacturing of value-added steel products.
