BEML has secured a significant domestic order from Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) valued at Rs 184.25 crore. This contract specifically mandates the manufacture and supply of crucial Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Fuselage Aerostructures.
The order positions BEML as a key contributor to India’s indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem, directly supporting the production capabilities for advanced aerial platforms like the LCH. This continues BEML’s strategic involvement in critical national projects.
This substantial domestic win follows a notable international success for the public sector undertaking. BEML recently received an additional export order worth approximately $5.35 million.
That export contract originated from the Middle East region, further diversifying BEML’s global footprint and showcasing its manufacturing prowess on an international scale. Such orders are vital for revenue diversification.
