BCPL Railway Infrastructure secures a Rs 54.74 crore contract from Eastern Railway to upgrade traction infrastructure in the Durgapur-Sitarampur section.
BCPL Railway Infrastructure has been identified as the Lowest Bidder for a new project contract awarded by the Asansol division of the Eastern Railway. The scope of the work involves the Traction Distribution (TRD) portion of the project, including the replacement of aged catenary wire, contact wire, and droppers in the Durgapur to Sitarampur section.

The contract, which also includes the replacement of overage structures in the Panagarh to Waria section, represents a significant infrastructure development order for the company. The total cost associated with this project is Rs 54.74 crore, a figure that includes the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
