The company primarily extends loans to women in rural areas, focusing on households with annual incomes up to 300,000 rupees.

Shareholder Involvement

Existing private equity shareholders Advent International and Multiples are participating in the offer for sale component of the IPO.

They had collectively invested 19.30 billion rupees into Svatantra Microfin in March 2024.

This IPO filing occurs during a period of observed recovery within India’s primary market.
