In addition to the Jan Dhan initiative, the discussions will cover the implementation status of social security initiatives. Officials are expected to evaluate current coverage, identify operational challenges, and strategize on ways to enhance the reach of these services to the last mile.
Key focus areas include the following government schemes:
Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, which brings unbanked citizens into the formal financial system.
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, covering social security initiatives.
