Edelweiss Financial Services Limited has successfully closed a strategic transaction with Carlyle Asia Partners, resulting in Carlyle becoming the majority investor in Nido Home Finance Limited. The partnership is designed to strengthen Nido’s financial position and expand its reach across the affordable housing sector.

The deal involves a multi-layered capital deployment aimed at restructuring ownership and injecting fresh funds into the housing finance company. Here is how the financial components are structured:
