Bajaj Finance spearheaded market gains, reporting a robust 27% rise in its first-quarter consolidated net profit. This strong financial performance propelled its shares higher, influencing broader market sentiment today.
The financial services major recorded a significant increase in its total consolidated income for Q1FY27, which surged by 19.56% to reach Rs 23,166.42 crore. Following the announcement of these robust results, Bajaj Finance’s shares climbed 6.14% to trade at Rs. 1120.85.

In other positive corporate developments, Refex Industries saw its shares surge after securing a new order valued at Rs 22.75 crore. This order is slated for execution within the next 12 months, signaling future revenue streams for the company.
Refex Industries’ stock reflected this positive sentiment, trading up 0.95% at Rs. 301.90 by market close. The secured order provides a clear operational outlook for the coming year.
The hospitality sector also demonstrated notable expansion. Lemon Tree Hotels gained momentum following the opening of its ‘Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels’ property in Mussoorie. This new establishment features 47 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a banquet hall, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, a spa, and other public amenities.
Lemon Tree Hotels’ shares responded positively to this expansion, trading up 0.78% to Rs. 110.15. This new opening marks a strategic addition to their portfolio in a key tourist destination.
Similarly, PVR Inox experienced a rise in its stock after launching a new 3-screen multiplex in Jabalpur. This addition significantly bolsters PVR Inox’s operational footprint in the region.
The new multiplex brings PVR Inox’s total operations to 10 cinemas with 55 screens across Madhya Pradesh and extends its reach to 42 cinemas with 204 screens across Central India. PVR Inox shares traded up 1.00% at Rs. 1142.30, reflecting investor confidence in its expansion strategy.
