Bajel Projects has secured a significant Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract from PowerGrid Corporation of India (PGCIL), an order classified as a ‘Mega order’ valued between Rs 300 crore and Rs 400 crore. This win reinforces Bajel Projects’ standing in the power infrastructure sector, highlighting its continued strategic involvement in national grid expansion.

Expanding National Power Infrastructure

The newly awarded contract focuses on the Transmission Line Package TL06. It specifically involves the LILO (Line In Line Out) of the Ranchi (New) – New PPSP 400kV D/C line at Jamshedpur (New). This critical infrastructure project forms part of the broader ‘WR-ER Inter-Regional Network Expansion Scheme-Part A’.

The project’s detailed scope includes two main sections. The first section covers the Jamshedpur (New) to LILO segment towards Ranchi (New), featuring a 400kV D/C (Twin Moose) line. The second part addresses the Jamshedpur (New) to LILO section towards New PPSP, which will utilize a 400kV D/C (Twin HTLS) TL line.

Bajel Projects is mandated to execute this substantial order within 27 months from the date the Notification of Award is issued. This timeline underscores the project’s scale and the operational demands placed on the company.
