Arindam Chaudhuri’s ‘Africa Before America’: A New Vision for Global Equity
By Business Desk
Dr. Arindam Chaudhuri’s new book, ‘Africa Before America’, presents a radical vision for global equity, advocating for a 1.25:1 egalitarian concept to address income inequality.
Dr. Arindam Chaudhuri has announced the launch of his new book, ‘Africa Before America’, which aims to articulate his global vision for a developed and equitable society. This publication follows his 2022 release, ‘2047: A Roadmap to Beating USA & China’, and builds upon his father Dr. Malay Chaudhuri’s ‘Great Global Dream’ for an egalitarian society.
Chaudhuri advocates for a radical 1.25:1 egalitarian concept, a principle he has taught since 1994. This concept suggests that the highest earner in any organization should not make more than 1.25 times the lowest earner, aiming to reduce economic disparities.
Addressing Societal Inequities
Chaudhuri identifies several core societal challenges that his work seeks to eradicate. These issues form a central theme across his various initiatives and publications.
- Income inequality: Addressed through his 1.25:1 egalitarian concept.
- Religion: Explored as a major global issue in his 2019 book ‘Beyond God & Capitalism’.
- Gender inequality: Tackled by strongly supporting property rights for women, including compulsory housing regardless of marital status.
Key Initiatives and Recognitions
Beyond his literary contributions, Chaudhuri is recognized for several significant roles and movements. He has been termed a ‘Maverick Management Guru’ and ‘India’s Original Education Entrepreneur’ for his work.
- Education for All: Plans include a new education venture designed to disrupt traditional college models.
- Longevity for All: He has accumulated over 50 certifications from Harvard and Stanford in Longevity Science and Public Health, leading a movement in India through workshops and his NECTAR initiative.
- Justice for All: Advocated for judicial reforms following his personal experience in Tihar Jail.
Chaudhuri’s ongoing work, spanning 25 years, culminates in the mission of ‘Global Equality of Marx & Malay’. He intends to disseminate this mission further in honor of his father’s 90th birthday, reinforcing a long-held family vision for a balanced global society.
