Ansal Properties Sees Profit Surge Amid Sales Decline
Ansal Properties & Infrastructure reported a significant 132.54% increase in profit after tax for the December 2025 quarter, reaching Rs 301.60 million. This surge occurred despite a sharp 92.08% decline in sales year-on-year.
- Profit after tax rose to Rs 301.60 million from Rs 129.70 million in the previous year.
- Sales sharply decreased to Rs 167.70 million from Rs 2117.40 million.
- Operating profit margin slipped to -33.60% from 182.80% in December 2024.
FIIs Remain Net Sellers in Derivatives Market
Concurrently, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were substantial net sellers in the Indian equities derivatives segment on June 17, offloading Rs 4974.51 crore across index futures and options.
- FIIs were net buyers of index futures by Rs 747.74 crore.
- They heavily sold index options worth Rs 5722.25 crore.
- In the stock segment, FIIs were net sellers of stock futures valued at Rs 407.94 crore and stock options worth Rs 607.84 crore.
Robust F&O Turnover Highlights Market Activity
Despite the FII selling, the total Futures & Options (F&O) turnover on June 17 was substantial, reaching Rs 69,70,562.06 crore with 4,95,34,228 contracts traded.
- Index Options contributed the largest share at Rs 63,68,471.39 crore.
- Stock Options followed with Rs 5,16,607.25 crore.
- Stock Futures recorded Rs 73,756.53 crore, and Index Futures saw Rs 11,726.89 crore.
- The total F&O Put Call ratio stood at 0.83.
