ACME Solar Holdings has successfully secured 300 MW of contracted capacity in an e-reverse auction orchestrated by SECI. The renewable energy developer achieved a discovered tariff of Rs 6.00/kWh for the project.

This award stems from the ‘Selection of RE Power Developers for assured Peak Supply of 6000 MWh (1500 MW x 4 Hrs.) from ISTS-Connected RE Projects in India, under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding’. ACME Solar Holdings will deliver power during a four-hour duration as specified by the tender requirements.
Operational Readiness and Portfolio Growth

- Commissioning: Facilitated for timely completion.
The company has already obtained the necessary connectivity grant and a substantial portion of the land required, which is anticipated to significantly shorten the project execution timeline and facilitate timely commissioning.
Upon the execution of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), this project will notably enhance the company’s battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio. It will add 1.2 GWh to its capacity and elevate its PPA-signed BESS pipeline to approximately 15 GWh.
