By Business DeskSenco Gold Eyes 25% Revenue Growth & 20 New Stores

Senco Gold and Diamonds targets over 25% revenue growth, aiming for Rs 10,500-11,000 crore and expanding with 20 new stores in tier II/III cities.

Senco Gold and Diamonds has set an ambitious target for the current financial year, aiming for over 25% revenue growth. The jewellery retailer projects revenues to reach between Rs 10,500 crore and Rs 11,000 crore, a significant increase from the Rs 8,430 crore reported in FY26.

Strategic Expansion Fuels Growth

This substantial growth is underpinned by a robust expansion strategy, including the addition of approximately 20 new stores during 2026-27. The plan involves opening 12-13 franchise models and 6-7 company-owned outlets, primarily in India’s tier II and III cities.

The strategic reliance on the franchise model is expected to optimize capital expenditure for Senco Gold. This approach is projected to reduce CapEx to around Rs 200-250 crore in FY27, with funding secured through a mix of internal accruals and debt.

Regional Focus and Global Stalls

Geographically, Senco Gold maintains a strong focus on strengthening its market presence across India. The eastern region currently accounts for 60-70% of its total revenue, followed by the northern, western, and southern markets.

Despite having two existing stores in Dubai, the company’s plans for further overseas expansion remain stalled. This pause is directly attributed to the ongoing crisis in the West Asia region, impacting international growth initiatives.

Senco Gold’s detailed strategy for the current fiscal year highlights a clear path for domestic market penetration and disciplined capital management. The emphasis on franchise growth and regional dominance underscores a pragmatic approach to achieving its significant revenue targets.
