Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd secured an inter-state transmission system project in Gujarat, receiving the Letter of Intent (LoI) on August 21, 2026. This project operates on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
Power Grid’s Gujarat Transmission Project
- Discovered annual tariff: Rs 822.91 crore.
- Project scope includes a new GIS substation at Kalyanpur, ICT augmentation, bay extensions, and 765 kV transmission lines across Gujarat.
- The project integrates power from RE Projects in Jam Khambhaliya REZ (Phase II, 5,500 MW) and Jamnagar (Phase-I, 1,000 MW).
Highway Infrastructure Ltd entered a Contract Agreement for the operation of the Palayam Fee Plaza in Tamil Nadu, following a Letter of Award (LoA) received on August 17, 2026.
Highway Infrastructure’s Fee Plaza Contract
- Location: Km 154+500 of NH-44, covering the Krishnagiri to Thumbipadi section (Km 94+000 to Km 180+000).
- The project will be implemented on a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis.
Innovision Ltd secured a user fee collection contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) via a competitive e-tender process.
Innovision’s NHAI User Fee Contract
- LoA for operation at Etaura Bujurg and Akhtiyari Kotila fee plazas in Uttar Pradesh.
- Commercial value: Rs 51.54 crore.
- Contract covers user fee collection for the two-lane Raebareilly-Allahabad section and upkeep of adjacent toilet blocks.
