By ThePip Desk
PNC Infratech’s Q1 FY27 net profit fell 23% to Rs 332 crore, even as revenue grew 18.6% to Rs 1,688 crore. EBITDA surged 42.1%.
PNC Infratech recorded a 23% year-on-year decrease in its consolidated net profit for the June quarter of fiscal 2027, settling at Rs 332 crore. This decline occurred even as the infrastructure company achieved robust growth in its operational revenue.
Revenue from operations for Q1 FY27 climbed by 18.6% year-on-year, reaching Rs 1,688 crore, up from Rs 1,423 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Operating Performance Highlights
The company demonstrated a significant improvement at the operating level, with EBITDA surging by 42.1% year-on-year to Rs 523 crore. This compares to Rs 368 crore reported in the same quarter of the prior year.
Consequently, the EBITDA margin expanded considerably to 31%, an increase from 25.9% previously. This expansion reflects a stronger operational performance during the June quarter.
The substantial increase in EBITDA, alongside the fall in consolidated net profit, indicates that bottom-line performance was adversely affected by elements below the operating level. Net profit stood at Rs 332 crore, down from Rs 431 crore year-on-year.
PNC Infratech’s quarterly results for Q1 FY27 presented a mixed scenario, characterized by solid revenue growth and a significant expansion in operating margins, contrasted by a reduction in net profit.
