The 23rd PharmaTech Expo & LabTech Expo has convened in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, marking a significant gathering for India’s pharmaceutical and laboratory sectors. This three-day event, running from August 20 to 22, 2026, consolidates the industry’s manufacturing ecosystem.
Organized by PharmaTechnologyIndex.com Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with the Drug Marketing & Manufacturing Association (DMMA), the expo positions itself as the nation’s largest. It offers a comprehensive platform for companies engaged in pharma, cosmetic, and nutra industries.

This year introduces a dedicated Startup Pavilion, a crucial addition for nurturing emerging pharmaceutical companies. Collaborating with iHub, Government of Gujarat, this initiative underscores a strategic focus on future industry growth.
The expo also runs concurrently with the Contract Manufacturing Expo and Raw & Packaging Material Expo, broadening its scope. This integrated approach ensures coverage across raw materials, contract manufacturing, laboratory equipment, and packaging technologies.
Strategic Industry Dialogues
Beyond product showcases, the event features targeted industry seminars addressing pivotal sector challenges and opportunities. Discussions on August 20 focused on strategies for managing “Not of Standard Quality” (NSQ) drugs and the increasing interest of pharmaceutical companies in capital markets.
A key seminar scheduled for August 21, in association with The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India, will explore joint ventures. This session aims to identify collaboration opportunities between India and the European Union in pharmaceutical manufacturing and innovation.
