Indian firm EPSRR Holdings partners with UK’s Axton Capital to launch new multi-cuisine cafes and F&B concepts in Sri Lanka and Oman, starting with Colombo and Muscat.
Good news for foodies in Sri Lanka and Oman! New multi-cuisine cafes and dining spots are set to arrive, thanks to a fresh partnership aiming to expand food and beverage options.
EPSRR Holdings Private Limited, an investment firm from Cochin, India, has teamed up with Axton Capital, UK. This collaboration will bring new F&B concepts to these international markets.
Global Flavours on the Horizon
The deal was sealed with a Memorandum of Understanding, leveraging Axton’s subsidiary, J M Robertson & Company Limited (JMR). JMR, a coffee trading company with a history dating back to 1845, already runs “Department of Coffee” cafes in both Sri Lanka and Oman. This existing presence offers EPSRR a “genuine running start,” as noted by Malith Perera, Director for Axton and J M Robertson.
Initially, the focus will be on Colombo and Muscat, but future expansion is planned. EPSRR aims to grow into a global brand, offering diverse culinary experiences.
Expanding Beyond Borders
This venture marks a significant international launch for EPSRR, bringing its expertise to new regions. EPSRR previously developed Club Sulaimani Food & Beverages LLP, which operates the Club Sulaimani and CS Signature brands in India. The company is also developing EPSRR Le Bistro for international markets, with future plans to explore opportunities across the GCC, European, and American regions.
Mr. Riyas Kalliyath, Chairman of EPSRR and Club Sulaimani, called this a “significant step” for the company’s international debut. Mr. Anand R. Iyer, CEO of EPSRR & Club Sulaimani, expressed excitement about establishing footprints in major international markets.
This partnership promises to diversify the culinary landscape in Sri Lanka and Oman, potentially bringing more choices and exciting new flavours to local consumers.
