Fintech firm Navi, led by Sachin Bansal, secured $100 million in its first institutional funding round from Dutch technology investor Prosus.
This capital raise is pending regulatory approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI), as Navi reportedly prepares for an initial public offering (IPO) targeting $300 million.

Navi’s Market Presence
- Navi ranks as the fourth-largest app by volume in the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) ecosystem.
- It processed 947 million UPI transactions in July, valued at ₹48,318 crore.
- Navi Finserv, the group’s lending arm, manages assets exceeding ₹13,000 crore.
- Personal loans constitute about 90 percent of Navi Finserv’s credit portfolio, having served 3.8 million customers.
Ashutosh Sharma, head of Prosus India Investments and M&A, praised Navi’s large user base, diversified business lines, and technology-first approach.
He expressed confidence in Navi’s future growth despite a challenging macroeconomic environment.
