L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) secures significant ONGC orders for west coast pipeline and well head platform projects, valued between Rs 5,000-10,000 crore.
Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) business vertical, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore), has secured a crucial batch of orders from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). These projects focus on India’s west coast, reinforcing L&T’s presence in key offshore developments.
These new contracts fall under L&T’s classification of a “major” order, indicating a value between Rs 5,000 crore and Rs 10,000 crore. The scope of work spans complex engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) activities.
Key Project Details
- Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP-X): This involves the EPCIC of multiple subsea pipeline segments. It also includes associated modification works across ONGC’s existing offshore fields.
- Well Head Platforms Project: This segment requires the EPCIC of four new Well Head Platforms. These platforms are integral to offshore oil and gas extraction infrastructure.
LTEH Offshore is a prominent provider of integrated EPCIC solutions within the offshore oil and gas industry. The vertical leverages robust in-house engineering capabilities and world-class fabrication facilities.
A dedicated fleet of marine vessels further supports its operations, enabling the successful delivery of complex shallow-water and deep-water developments across global markets. These new orders from ONGC underscore LTEH Offshore’s competitive edge and operational strength in a vital sector.
