Laxmi India Finance Boosts CSR to ₹66.57 Lakh in FY26

Laxmi India Finance significantly increased CSR spending to ₹66.57 lakh in FY26, exceeding its obligation by ₹2.89 lakh and focusing heavily on education.
Laxmi India Finance Limited significantly increased its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR – companies giving back) spending in fiscal year 2025-26. The company allocated Rs 66.57 lakh to various initiatives, surpassing its statutory obligation.
This amount went beyond their adjusted statutory CSR obligation of Rs 63.68 lakh. It resulted in an excess spend of Rs 2.89 lakh, which can be carried forward to future financial years. The company’s CSR spending also jumped 44.7% from the previous fiscal year.

Education received the biggest slice of the budget, taking 61.3% of the total. This amounted to Rs 40.80 lakh for various programs.
Supporting Education and Survivors
- Construction and repair of school infrastructure
- Improved sanitation facilities
- Provision of a school van
- Distribution of essential learning materials, books, and uniforms
- Support for Chhanv Foundation, aiding acid attack and burn injury survivors with skill development.
Beyond education, Laxmi India Finance also invested in healthcare, community welfare, and animal care. These efforts show a broad commitment to societal impact.
Diverse Community Initiatives
- Healthcare programs: Rs 12.05 lakh (18.1% of total CSR) for cancer awareness and free eye camps with Gulab Kaushalya Charitable Trust.
- Community welfare: Rs 10.71 lakh for food distribution, blood donation drives, and elderly assistance.
- Animal welfare: Rs 3 lakh through Eco Rescuers Foundation and Go Nirvana for rescue and rehabilitation.
Deepak Baid, the Managing Director, underlined the company’s focus on responsible growth and strong governance. The CSR Committee, led by Baid and including Mrs. Aneesha Baid and Surendra Mehta, oversees these projects.
