The primary goal is to establish the government’s projected spending and revenue for the upcoming fiscal year, known as Budget Estimates. Concurrently, they will refine the financial outlook for the current year with Revised Estimates.
This process ensures that fiscal planning is based on updated information and departmental needs. The rigorous evaluation continues until mid-November, setting the foundation for the final budget document.
