Cashfree Payments India Private Limited significantly narrowed its consolidated net losses to ₹118.5 crore in the financial year ended March 2026. This marks an improvement from the ₹154 crore loss reported in the previous fiscal year.
The fintech company’s revenue from operations saw a substantial increase, rising over 51% to reach ₹967.4 crore in FY26, up from ₹640.1 crore in FY25.
Key Financial Performance
The company recorded a consolidated net loss of ₹118.5 crore in FY26.
Revenue from operations surged to ₹967.4 crore, marking a significant 51% increase from ₹640.1 crore in the prior fiscal year.
Including other income, Cashfree Payments’ total revenue reached ₹972.5 crore for the period.
Total expenses for FY26 increased to ₹1,090.9 crore, though employee benefit expenses experienced a marginal decline.
Strategic Milestones and Outlook
Co-founder and CEO Akash Sinha described FY26 as a pivotal year, noting the company’s approach to the ₹1,000 crore revenue mark.
Cashfree Payments also achieved EBITDA profitability in March 2026, with a stated aim for full-year EBITDA profitability in FY27.
The company targets achieving ₹3,000 crore in revenue within the next two to three years, driven by growth in both the small and medium business (SMB) segment and cross-border payments.
Market Presence and Licensing
The active merchant base expanded by 50% year-on-year in FY26, showing growth across both enterprise and SMB sectors.
Supported by investors including SBI, Y Combinator, and Krafton, Cashfree Payments holds key RBI licenses.
These licenses encompass Payment Aggregator, Payment Aggregator-Cross Border, and Prepaid Payment Instrument, solidifying its operational framework in India.
