The F&O total turnover reached ₹6,36,44,779.11 crore on October 19 across the Indian equity markets. Market participants traded a total of 43,05,13,108 contracts across various segments during this specific trading session, according to the data released on October 21.
Index Options accounted for the largest portion of the turnover at ₹6,29,67,474.05 crore. Stock Options followed with a turnover of ₹5,88,760.60 crore. Stock Futures contributed ₹75,682.85 crore to the daily total, while Index Futures added ₹12,861.61 crore.
The data also highlights the Put Call ratio for the day. The total F&O Put Call ratio stood at 1.03. The Index Options segment recorded a Put Call ratio of 1.04, whereas the Stock Options segment reported a ratio of 0.55.
