Aditya Babbar, Vice President, MX Business, confirmed these schemes are designed to benefit even new-to-credit customers. This means more people can access the latest technology without a large upfront cost.
Samsung anticipates a 20% growth in its flagship phone segment this year, referring to devices over Rs 45,000. The company has already seen its market share increase to 17.7% from 15.5% in the previous quarter.
Expanding Reach to Smaller Towns
Samsung is significantly expanding its distribution network, specifically targeting Tier-II, Tier-III, and Tier-IV towns. Sales volumes in these smaller areas have shown stronger performance compared to metro cities.
With 10,000 retail outlets, Samsung plans to emphasize new features, including those powered by artificial intelligence. This strategy ensures you can explore cutting-edge technology closer to home.
The Future of Foldables and AI
Ahead of the festive season, Samsung will offer various financing options for its foldable phones, a segment facing increased competition. Other players like Apple and Google are also expected to enter this growing market.
The company recently unveiled its eighth generation of foldable phones, the new Galaxy Z series, which includes the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. These devices feature AI capabilities, such as Gemini Intelligence, for enhanced productivity, content creation, transparency, and privacy.
