ET Money Global Investing: Diversify Your Portfolio
By ThePip Desk
ET Money now offers Global Investing, powered by Vested Finance, allowing Indian investors to access US Stocks, ETFs, and Global Mutual Funds for portfolio diversification.
ET Money, India’s long-term investment application and part of the 360 ONE WAM group, has launched ‘Global Investing’ to expand its investment solutions. This new feature allows Indian investors to construct globally diversified portfolios.
The underlying infrastructure for this offering is provided by Vested Finance, enabling access to individual US Stocks, International Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Global Mutual Funds, and professionally Managed Portfolios.
Expanding Investment Horizons
This introduction addresses a growing trend among Indian investors seeking to diversify their long-term portfolios beyond domestic markets. The goal is to access global businesses and enhance overall portfolio resilience.
Previously, investors encountered challenges, including restrictions on new investments into international mutual funds due to RBI’s overseas investment limits. Managing international assets through separate applications also presented an inconvenience.
ET Money’s integrated solution aims to remove these barriers, allowing investors to manage global market exposures directly within their existing app. This includes other long-term investments like Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits, Bonds, and the National Pension System (NPS) on a single platform.
Key Offerings and Strategic Rationale
Investors now have multiple avenues for global exposure within the application:
Direct investments in US stocks.
Diversification across various countries and sectors via International ETFs.
Lump-sum or SIP investments in Global Mutual Funds managed by leading asset managers.
Options for professionally managed global portfolios.
Mukesh Kalra, Founder & CEO of ET Money, stated that Indian investors are increasingly looking beyond India for diversification. He noted that ‘Global Investing’ simplifies this next step in wealth building.
Viram Shah, Co-Founder & CEO of Vested Finance, emphasized that global investing is becoming a standard practice for long-term wealth creation in India. Shah added that ET Money’s large mutual fund audience provides a natural home for this expansion.
To mark the launch, ET Money is providing a limited-period ‘Go Global Offer.’ This includes zero brokerage on global investments until August 15, 2026.
