NODWIN Gaming has appointed its former CEO, Sidharth Kedia, as its new chief strategy and investments officer, preceding its planned initial public offering (IPO). Kedia, who departed NODWIN in 2023, will now oversee strategy, fundraising, and amalgamations.
Kedia was previously the CEO of the company from 2019 to 2023. According to the company, during his leadership, NODWIN significantly increased its revenue, secured over $50 million in funding, and reached a valuation of approximately $350 million following a funding round led by Sony Group Corporation.
Kedia stated that under his leadership, NODWIN became South Asia’s largest esports company, with revenue growing tenfold and valuation increasing by 28 times during his four-year tenure. After leaving NODWIN, he joined Jio’s gaming division, Jio Games, as an SVP until April 2025, and later joined AI video startup Mythik in June 2025.
Kedia commented, “Having seen the company grow over the years, it’s clear how strong the foundation is today and how much opportunity lies ahead. NODWIN is entering a phase where focused strategy, thoughtful capital allocation, and strong execution will unlock its true value potential.”
NODWIN’s forthcoming phase is heavily reliant on its ambition for a public listing. Following its demerger from parent company Nazara, NODWIN has been in the process of raising fresh capital before commencing the IPO procedure.
NODWIN Gaming intends to raise approximately $100 million through a pre-IPO round, as stated by cofounder Akshat Rathee to Inc42. He added that the company is currently adhering to a structured IPO readiness framework, which includes financial performance, board and governance alignment, investor demand, regulatory compliance, and internal preparedness.
Bankers are currently evaluating market interest and book-building visibility before the company makes a final decision.
Rathee noted that NODWIN is projected to conclude the current fiscal year with a turnover of around ₹700 Cr. The startup also reports profitability for its India operations and maintains an annual growth rate of 20-40%, with margins expected to gradually increase.
NODWIN operates in over 20 countries and is focusing on a model where demand is generated in developed markets while execution is conducted in cost-efficient regions.
The company’s business is divided into two segments: live experiences and content. The live segment includes esports tournaments, comic conventions, and music festivals, while the content arm is dedicated to digital media, influencer-led content, and brand partnerships.
