D2C brand Menhood, a subsidiary of NSE Emerge-listed Macobs Technologies, reported a significant financial uplift for the fiscal year 2025-26 (FY26). The company’s consolidated net profit climbed 20.1% year-on-year to ₹3.1 Cr, up from ₹2.6 Cr in the previous fiscal year. This robust profit growth was underpinned by a substantial 75.2% increase in operating revenue, which reached ₹41.4 Cr compared to ₹23.6 Cr in FY25, showcasing strong market traction.

The impressive annual performance was significantly bolstered by the second half of FY26 (H2 FY26). During this period, Menhood recorded a net profit of ₹1.7 Cr, marking a substantial 124% surge from ₹76.8 Lakh in the corresponding period a year ago. This H2 profit also saw a healthy 20.4% sequential rise from ₹1.4 Cr reported in the first half of FY26 (H1 FY26), indicating accelerating growth.

Operating revenue in H2 FY26 demonstrated remarkable expansion, soaring 215% year-on-year and nearly 16% quarter-on-quarter, to reach ₹22.2 Cr. When including other income of ₹1.3 Cr, Menhood’s total income for FY26 stood at ₹42.6 Cr, reflecting the brand’s expanding market presence and diversified revenue streams.

Strategic Operations and Market Position

Founded in 2019 by Dushyant Gandotra, Menhood has established itself as a prominent player in the male grooming and lifestyle products segment. The company sells a diverse range of products, including trimmers, perfumes, intimate wash, and moisturizers, primarily through its own website and various e-commerce marketplaces. Complementing its core offerings, Menhood also operates Womenhood, a brand dedicated to female-centric products, broadening its consumer base.

The Jaipur-based company operates within a highly competitive direct-to-consumer market, contending with well-known brands such as Bombay Shaving Company, Beardo, and Winston Electronics. In a notable strategic development earlier this year, Menhood’s parent entity, Macobs Technologies, formalized an agreement to acquire a 50.01% stake in Getmymettle, a health and wellness-focused D2C brand. This acquisition, valued at INR 10.5 Cr, signals Macobs’ intent to expand into synergistic market segments and diversify its portfolio beyond personal care.

Detailed Financial Outlays for FY26

Mirroring the significant growth in revenue, Menhood’s total expenses for FY26 also experienced a substantial increase, rising 88.3% to ₹38.4 Cr from ₹20.4 Cr in the prior fiscal year. The largest single component of these expenditures was the purchase of stock in trade, which escalated by 82.1% year-on-year to ₹20.2 Cr in FY26, up from ₹11.1 Cr in FY25, reflecting higher sales volume and inventory management.

Employee benefits costs also saw an uptick, increasing 20.3% to ₹1.2 Cr in FY26 compared to ₹1 Cr in the year-ago period, indicating investment in human capital. Conversely, advertising expenses demonstrated a strategic optimization, declining 7.6% to ₹6.3 Cr in the fiscal under review from ₹6.8 Cr in FY25. This suggests potential improvements in marketing efficiency or a shift towards organic growth channels.

Furthermore, other expenses for the period under review registered a marginal decrease of 1.5%, settling at ₹6.1 Cr from ₹6.2 Cr in FY25, contributing to cost control efforts. These detailed expense figures provide insight into the operational structure supporting Menhood’s growth trajectory.
