By Sivam
Pace Digitek’s Lineage Power secures a 3 GWh battery deal with RJE Tech, while Alembic Pharma gets USFDA approval for Dapsone Gel. Indian companies show strong global growth.
Pace Digitek’s Lineage Power just locked in a massive 3 GWh battery supply deal, while Alembic Pharmaceuticals secured key USFDA approval for an acne treatment. These moves highlight significant growth and strategic expansion for both Indian firms in critical global markets.
📌 What Happened?
Lineage Power, a material subsidiary of Pace Digitek, signed a master supply agreement with Rongjie Energy Technology Co., Guangzhou (RJE Tech), a leading Chinese lithium-ion battery cell manufacturer.
Under this agreement, RJE Tech will supply 3 GWh of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery cells and related accessories to Lineage Power.
This deal significantly strengthens Lineage Power’s battery cell sourcing framework and supports its expanding Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing platform for utility-scale and commercial applications.
Separately, Alembic Pharmaceuticals received final approval from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) Dapsone Gel, 5%.
This approved ANDA is therapeutically equivalent to Almirall, LLC’s reference listed drug, Aczone Gel, 5%, and is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris.
This latest approval brings Alembic’s cumulative total to 244 ANDA approvals from the USFDA, comprising 224 final and 20 tentative approvals.
💰 Why It Matters
Pace Digitek’s massive 3 GWh LFP battery deal positions its subsidiary Lineage Power firmly within the rapidly expanding energy storage sector, crucial for renewable energy grids and the broader electrification trend.
Alembic Pharma’s USFDA approval for a generic acne treatment offers a potentially more affordable alternative for consumers and expands the company’s competitive footprint in the dermatology market.
Both developments signal robust strategic moves by Indian companies to secure supply chains and gain market access in high-demand global sectors like clean energy infrastructure and pharmaceuticals.
For investors, these agreements and approvals suggest potential for future revenue growth and market share gains, underscoring the companies’ operational strengths and global ambitions.
